HANOI ROCKS’ successful year 2007 will be completed with Radio Rock Finlandia nomination and gigs with MOTÖRHEAD – 2008 begins with massive European tour.

Hanoi Rocks spreads tirelessly the good word of Street Poetry! The band has just returned from Japan, where they played five sold out gigs in Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagoya and Tokio, where they had their own club gig and they also performed in Loud Park Festival just before headliner MARILYN MANSON. ”The audience went totally crazy in our gigs and lived through every moment with the band. Japanese fans have incredible amount of energy”, Michael Monroe says amazed.

The rest of the year will be a great celebration for Hanoi Rocks in many ways. The band will play in Radio Rock Finlandia gala on December 5th in Helsinki Ice Hall as one the nominees of the prize. ”This kind of credit is of course flattering and nice. We’ve been doing our thing for so long and I think the result is not too bad”, satisfied Michael Monroe comments the nomination.

Besides Radio Rock Finlandia gala, Hanoi Rocks will play three shows with legendary Motörhead in December. The cities and places are following: December 11th - Helsinki, Ice Hall, December 12th - Tampere, Ice Hall, December 13th - Oulu, Club Teatria.

Year 2008 starts with long European tour, which takes Hanoi Rocks from Sweden via Germany to United Kingdom. The last gig of the tour will be in London’s notorious Astoria Club on March 7th. Michael Monroe is excited about the forthcoming months on the road: ”It feels really good to go to Europe with a brilliant Street Poetry album. The band is in great shape and the live chemistry works like a dream, so we’ll be happy to show what we got to the rest of the world!”
