IN THIS MOMENT - Trailer Broken Into, Gear Stolen
November 20, 2007, 17 years ago
IN THIS MOMENT, currently on tour with OZZY OSBOURNE and ROB ZOMBIE, had their trailer broken into in Portland, Oregon. The band has issued the following appeal:
Please help us find our stuff!
Here is all the information regarding In This Moment's trailer being broken into on Nov. 15th in the early morning hours after their show on Nov. 14th, 2007:
Portland Oregon Rose Garden Arena
1 Center Court
Portland, Oregon 97227
ITM Tour Manager and Zombie Crew leave: 12:30am
Band Members go to bed on bus around: 12:45am
Last Ozzy Tractor Trailer loaded at 12:45am
Merch Tractor Trailer is last one loaded and pulls into loading dock.
So, between the hours of 1:10-1:45am, as the last Merch Tractor Trailer was being loaded; two males in a dark blue or black SUV (possibly a Jeep Cherokee or Nissan) pull their vehicle in front of the gated loading dock. The Merch truck was blocking the view of the Security Center that viewed directly into the back of the trailer. The only notable qualities of the vehicle were that a white placard was placed on the side of the door, like it was a label for a business.
Both get out of the vehicle and seem to know the terrain very well. They approach the back of the bus and 20 minutes later are seen carrying items out of the back of the trailer.
They cut the hitch locks and attempted to steal the whole trailer; but upon further consideration and realizing that bitch is too heavy; approach the back of the trailer to cut the locks and get what they can. In 35 minutes they only took a few items including:
- 1 Schecter Hellraiser guitar with Burgandy finish- 1 Schecter Loomis Guitar with a Maple neck, and fleur de leis inlay
- 1 box of Remo drum heads in various sizes including 14" and 16" Tom Heads, Evans 13" Snare Heads
- 1 Merch Tub with 50 In This Moment Raven Hoodies that are currently being sold on the Ozzy Osbourne Tour. They only took about 45 hoodies in various sizes; S-2XL, black with white and red printing.
We return at 2:45am to get back on the bus and go to bed.
At 3am the bus driver returns and puts his bag in the bay only to realize he sees the chains from the trailer hanging on the ground. Upon further inspection he realizes the locks have been cut.
If you have any information regarding this matter, or you see what appears to be the above described items, please contact the Portland Police Department:
