The following update has been posted at the JUDAS PRIEST website:
"The Judas Priest Machine will be rolling out on the road again next year - the tour starts in June 2008 - dates to be announced shortly!!!! (please note that only when dates are announced here on our website are they actually official and confirmed!!)."US radio/TV personality Eddie Trunk recently issued the following update:
"Thanks to ROB HALFORD for spending pretty much the entire show with us last night (November 16th) in the studio. Very little music played, but some GREAT stories and as Rob said during the interview, I have a way to get him to talk about things he never has before. Hope you caught this in studio visit. If you didn't, catch the replays listed in Syndication on this site. Tons of email, all positive, about the Metal God and Metal Mike hanging all night. Rob talked Priest and his solo stuff and told some great stories and insights from the decades as one of the legends of metal. Some highlights from Rob's visit:
- The new JP album will be out early 2008. Being mixed now. Recording done.- JP tour dates will be announced for next year in a couple weeks. Tour will have shows of all of Nostradamus as well as "regular" set shows. I might have a HUGE announcement soon to share with you guys regarding Priest live in a very special show!
- Rob will release a new Halford album at some point when his schedule allows.
- He would like to do a song or two from the Tim Owens era in the next Priest tour.
- Rob also talked about his battle with drugs and alcohol in the mid 80's. Interesting stuff I had never heard before."
