Easier.com is reporting:

Whilst radio stations across the globe are celebrating the festive season, 96.3 Rock Radio, Scotland’s first classic Rock station is banning any mention of Christmas.

The Rock Jocks like to be different and although it’s been said that Tom Russell may look like Santa Claus with his rustic beard, playing Christmas favourites would seriously damage the jocks reputation.

Instead they will thrash out popular Rock hits from LED ZEPPELIN, DEEP PURPLE, AC/DC, QUEEN, GUNS N ROSES, BON JOVI, BLUR and THE ROLLING STONES without so much as a sound of Santa songs or sleigh bells.

Ciaran O’Toole, head of presentation for Rock Radio said, “For those who’ve overdosed on the likes of WIZZARD’s I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day they can tune into Rock Radio and be guaranteed a Christmas free zone. Our presenters will be rocking on and we’ve told Santa to beat it!”

So for those that are more bah humbug than Santa’s little helpers, tune into the Christmas Free 96.3 Rock Radio this December.
