Ray "Black Metal" Wallace suffered a brain aneurysm on November 15th and never recovered. He sadly passed away on on Tuesday, November 27 at 12:15 AM.

Wallace had a long-time involvement in the music and entertainment industry. He managed Sacrifice in the '80s/'90s and ran Black Metal Management (with ties with Canuck legends Razor and Anvil), most recently working with Scarlet Sins. He is also a local promoter, most recently booking original bands in on Thursdays at Rock & Roll Heaven.

Wallace was dubbed "Black Metal" by VENOM icon Cronos at an '80s Toronto show. Of course 'Black Metal' was the name of Venom's legendary 1982 album of the same name.
