THIN LIZZY Legend's Mother In Anti-Drugs Plea

According to the BBC News, the mother of THIN LIZZY star Phil Lynott has condemned the widespread use of drugs in Ireland. Philomena Lynott was speaking as investigations into the death of one of Ireland's top models continued.
A post-mortem examination carried out on the body of Katy French on Friday concluded she suffered brain damage.
It has also emerged the 24-year-old had taken cocaine before she was admitted to hospital in Navan after collapsing last Sunday.
It is understood the National Drugs Unit and National Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating.
Ms French was admitted to hospital early on Sunday morning after she collapsed at a house in Kilmessan, County Meath.
Ms French recently revealed she used to take cocaine but had claimed she had stopped.
Philomena Lynott, whose musician son died 20 years ago, said drugs were rampant across Ireland.
"The drug dealers have got to be treated as murderers because they are selling death," she told Irish broadcasters, RTE."They are killing our young people. Children are dying from drugs and dying because of them. Car crashes, suicide, everything."
"When I go to concerts in memory of Philip I tell them thank you for loving him, and thank you for loving his music, but don't love his lifestyle."
Thin Lizzy singer Lynott, 36, died from heart failure and pneumonia after he collapsed in his Surrey home from a drink and drug binge.
