Texas based artist Lamberto Alvarez' "Dimebag" Darrell tribute painting is currently up for auction at eBay, with a starting bid of $3,000.

A description reads: "Commeration of Pantera's star guitarist and slain hero of an age of music.
This painting commemorates the painful night that Dime was slain in Columbus, Ohio, on December 8th, which coincidentally is the same date that John Lennon of The Beatles was slain by a deranged fan.
Dimebag looms larger than life on this piece immortalizing a hero for a whole generation. This painting is special because Dime was a 3 in the numerologist system.
