hot flashes news the eternal

Australian metallers THE ETERNAL have issued the following update via their MySpace page:

"This weekend (drummer) Marty (O'Shea) lays down the drum tracks for the new album Kartika. (Guitarist, vocalist) Mark (Kelson), (guitarist, backing vocalist) Terry (Vainoras) and Marty are heading to Mixmaster Studios in Adelaide tomorrow to meet up with engineer Ian Miller and get this show on the road!

It has nearly been 3 years since we recorded Sleep Of Reason, so we are really looking forward to getting into the studio and laying down some new tracks! :)

We will be keeping you all posted along the way so expect new studio photos and more information next week.

We have guitars and vocals locked in for the rest of December and January, so we are feeling pretty confident the album will be complete and ready to master in February 2008."

As previously reported, tracks expected to appear on Kartika include: 'Self Inflicted', 'Means For An Ending', 'Blood', 'Without Reason', 'A Pale Reflection', 'Illuminate', 'Walk Beside You', 'Brighter Day', 'Kartika', 'Silence', 'July', 'Lost Our Way', 'Inside the Grey', 'I’ve Seen The Dream Through Someone Else’s Eyes', 'Sunshine', 'Frozen Sun', 'Last Embrace.'
