DESTRUCTION, Promoter Announce Devil's Revenge Festival Cancellation

Devil's Revenge Festival, which was to take place December 29th, 2007 at Stadthalle in Lichtenfels, Germany, has been cancelled, according to the following update from German thrashers DESTRUCTION:
"Devil's Revenge Festival cancelled by local promoter!Sorry but no further information has been given to us by the local promoter. The band is dissapointed by this last minute cancellation beyond their control cause this was supposed to be the last German show until summer/autumn 08!
Destruction will now start working on the 25th anniversary album that will have a worldwide release in August 2008 on AFM,Candlelight and King-Records!"
More details on the cancelled festival as details surface. Also, scheduled to perform were GOREFEST, EVOCATION, DEMONICAL, IMPERIOUS REX, DEATHRONATION, VOMITORY and THE DUSKFALL.
A brief message at the website for promoter, Burningstage Concerts, simply reads: "Devils Revenge Festival canceled!"
