DRAGONLORD Bassist Derrick Ramirez To Guest On OBLITERHATE Album

Derrick Ramirez (DRAGONLORD, ex-TESTAMENT) will begin recording the bass tracks for Singapore-based black/thrash project OBLITERHATE during the month of January 2008. The bass recording will be done at Trident Studios (EXODUS, SADUS, TESTAMENT, SKINLAB) with Juan Urteaga.
Obliterhate is led by guitarist Calvin Chiang (RASPATUL) and the album - tentatively titled Blessing In Disgust - will also feature the following:
Dan Swanö (NIGHTINGALE, ex-EDGE OF SANITY, BLOODBATH) - vocals
Erik Sayenga (WARTHRONE, ex-DYING FETUS) - drums
Mirai Kawashima (SIGH, ex-NECROPHAGIA) - keyboards
James Murphy (DISINCARNATE, ex-DEATH, ex-Testament) - guest guitar solo
The legendary Jeff Becerra from the mighty POSSESSED has penned down some lyrics for Obliterhate, and will appear on this debut album. The other part of the lyrical song-writing and vocal arrangements will be done by Rogga Johansson, who is the mastermind behind PAGANIZER, THOSE WHO BRING THE TORTURE, RIBSPREADER, DEMIURG, etc.
