December 23, 2007, 16 years ago
MEGADETH frontman/founder Dave Mustaine has checked in with the following update:
"Droogies! We are one step closer to releasing Phase 2 of TheLiveLine.com site and this week we are going to introducing you to some of our new features and our new established artists.
I have been talking to some of my close friends and we are going to have a few more people for you to talk to at TheLiveLine.com.
We are still developing so much stuff, but we wanted to make sure that this part, the coolest part FOR NOW, is that I can leave ya updates and you can leave me messages too. But this is just the beginning of your “TLL” experience to come.
We have used our new ally TheLiveLine.com to help us choose the bands that are going to play with us in several of the countries on our next tour of Europe and the United Kingdom. This service is just one of the small features we are going to offer, and we will continue to research and develop them as new technology is unveiled to us.
For bands that want to try the poll, contact band@theliveline.com, if you are a fan, whenever you call in to hear my message or any of the new artists’, athletes’, and entertainers’ messages, when you use a number the first time, your caller id will play the first greeting by me, the second time you call you will receive my new message that is waiting for you. if you call from a different number to check you messages, you will have to call twice to hear my new message. Geddit?
Anyway, there is a new message up for you to check out and we have had a lot of things happen in the last 72 hours, and as soon as I can say something I will, but just let me say that the good outweighs the bad
Until sometime next week here, and after Monday at TheLiveLine.com, and after New Years at Gigantour.com, stay tuned for updates and messages from me and the band (and constant updates from our webmaster and SLs here, and our terrific MySpace sites) starting with band news; the revealing the 2008 N.A. line-up; and much, much more. And there will no doubt be some news that will make some angry, some sad, some confused and some just happy to be here.
Anyway, I am off to work with Justis and we are finishing watching Eastern Promise.
Viggo is kewl!"
