IMAPLED NAZARENE are the first headliners confirmed for the 2008 Obscene Extreme festival, which will take place from July 10th - 12th, in Trutnov, Czech Republic.

Organizers state: "There cannot be a more suitable date to announce another band for OEF 2008 than the running Christian orgies - Christmas. Not only that it is really our present under the Christmas tree of grind for you, the fans of OEF, but also Christmas is just the best day for telling you such a piece of news. A nuclear bunch from the land of thousands lakes under the leadership of maybe the biggest obscene blasphemer ever Mikka Luttinen will come to play their sodomising rock´n´roll at OEF. Yes, you are reading that correctly! The next band for 2008 are really the cult IMPALED NAZARENE!!!

You would search with difficulty for a more appropriate band for a fest called OBSCENE EXTREME than these verily obscene perverts from Finland rolling their mad and raw black/death metal along the lines of filthy street punk rock. And if you think that IN have never managed to follow up with the success of Soumi Finland Perkele album, you have not heard their new work Manifest for sure that has been released lately. It shows the band in a form it has never been before!!!
