hot flashes news incantation

INCANTATION has announced that Craig Pillard (ONWARD TO GOLGOTHA, MORTAL THRONE OF NAZARENE, FORSAKEN MOURNING OF ANGELIC ANGUISH) will be handling vocals for the band at the Central Illinois Metalfest, along with a few other shows throughout 2008. Craig comments, "We have already jammed on some of the old songs in Jim's [Roe, drums] basement and everything sounds great. We have a lot of great history and it will be a good experience to once again share the stage with the band."

Added Incantation mainman John McEntee: "I'm extremely excited to work once again with both Craig and Jim we really work good together and everyone has a lot of respect for each others contribution to the band's history. I really look forward to playing some of our older songs that we don't always get to play do to time restrictions at our shows. It will be cool to do a few shows that accent more of our earlier recordings. We will for sure pull out some songs that haven't been played in a long time. There are no long-term plans at the moment. With this line up we are just doing these shows more out of our own enjoyment then any big long-term reunion. We have always done the band because we enjoy it and with no long-term commitments we feel we can keep it enjoyable."

Incantation's Forsaken Throne Of Golgotha tour 2008 lineup is:

Craig Pillard (Onward To Golgotha, Mortal Throne Of Nazarene, Forsaken Mourning Of Angelic Anguish) - vocals

John McEntree (FUNERUS) - guitar

Rayash (SUPREME LORD) - bass

Alex Bouks (GOREAPHOBIA) - guitar

Jim Roe - (Onward To Golgotha, Mortal Throne Of Nazarene) - drums

Central Illinois Metalfest will take place July 18-20 at the Canopy Club in Urbana, Illinois.

Incantation will headline day one of the Mayhem in May 3 festival, set to take place May 17-18, 2008 at Uncle Pleasant's in Louisville, Kentucky.
