PROFUGUS MORTIS Issue Year-End Wrap-Up; Preproduction Of New Album Underway

Canada's PROFUGUS MORTIS have issued the following update:
"Well another year has come and gone, 2007 we will miss you!It was a landmark year for us as a band, starting with our mini-tour with MOONSORROW and then the release of our first album, ...So It Begins, released on ProDisk. Also, of course getting to open for so many cool bands, BEHEMOTH, INTO ETERNITY, FINNTROLL, ENSIFERUM, THERION and UNEXPECT.
Also a big thanks to all of you who made ..So It Begins the highest selling album in the label's history. We never thought it would do so well and we have only you to thank for it .
Now on to 2008!
This is going to be the biggest year in the history of the band. We have plans to finally make it over to the US in the spring/summer and tour much more than we did last year .
We're currently in pre-production mode for the next record so expect to hear a lot of new material next time you see us. Also, be on the look out for video blogs documenting our progress with a few sneak peaks at the new material .
