DEF LEPPARD Bassist Donating Clothes For Charity; Fourth Auction Online Now
January 4, 2008, 16 years ago
DefLeppard.com is auctioning off authentic pieces of outfits that bassist Rick Savage wore on stage during many shows on the band's tours in 2005, 2006 and 2007. A total of ten items will be auctioned (one item a week), including jeans, shirts, and vests.
A posting at the band's website adds: "The fourth auction is now online, offering a white buttoned shirt, worn mostly during Def Leppard's 2006 Yeah! tour. The shirt is in good condition but (obviously) shows some use, and comes with a personal thank you note from Sav. All proceeds of this auction will go to the Sheffield Children's Hospital and Help A Hallam Child, Sav's choice of charities."
