German metallers ATROCITY are counting down to the release their new cover album, Werk 80 II, due out on February 8th in Europe and March 4th in North America via Napalm Records. Click here to hear a sample of their cover of ICEHOUSE's 'Hey Little Girl'.
Frontman Alex Krull comments: "We thought that the song could work very well with a hard chorus. We had several different ideas, riffs and guitarlines for this song. Maybe you don’t get every detail immediately but it’s happening a lot in our version, while as the original sounds quite monotonous. I like the outcome with its dynamic modality as we play the song. After a melodic, solemn verse comes a dirty chorus like a punch in your face, haha…”
