SCORPIONS news blog ScorpsNews.com has issued the following update:

"The new DVD will be released only online Tuesday, January 8 and will not be available in local stores.

This release will be the European version of this DVD. The Scorpions and their American management are still working on getting a US distribution deal for the new DVD as we speak.

The DVD will probably be released around the time of the announcement of the upcoming North American Tour. I will keep all of you posted!!!!"

Entitled Live At Wacken Open Air 2006: A Night To Remember - A Journey Through Time, the DVD marks the Scorpion's historic performance on August 3rd, 2006 when they reunited with former bandmates Uli Jon Roth (guitar), Michael Schenker (guitar) and Herman Rarebell (drums) on the True Metal Stage.
