BW&BK; has received the following update on IRON STEEL, the project featuring Fran Strine (vocals, guitar), Tommy Redd (guitar), Morgan Rose (drums - SEVENDUST), Jim LaMarca (bass - CHIMAIRA), Rachel Bolan (bass - SKID ROW) and

David Ellefson (bass - ex-MEGADETH):

The time is upon us for the Metal universe to behold the majesty of Iron Steel.

A meeting of metallic minds that produced some of the most explosive Rock & Roll out there – the Devil May Care EP – Iron Steel boasts an incredible membership roster with a work ethic to match their talents.

The men of Iron Steel (mentioned above – along with Homme De Mystere on guitar and songwriter Zach Strine) have been slaving away in Tree Sound Studios / Light House Studios in Atlanta, GA, writing and recording five brand new tracks with mega-producer Johnny K. (DISTURBED, 3 DOORS DOWN, STAIND).

The new classics ‘Attack’, ‘STD’, ‘Pie Eater’, ‘Hail Satan’, and ‘Goth Girl’ will be mixed in early January by Shawn Grove (MATCHBOX 20, Sevendust).

You can actually meet Iron Steel live in their full glory on Friday, January 18th, at 3 PM at the 2008 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA at the PEAVEY booth.

Ellefson comments on his bandmates, stating, "Iron Steel is the modern day STORMTROOPERS OF DEATH. It's all badass players throwin' down on one sick disc of metal!"

Fran bellows, “My brothers in metal - the men of Iron Steel - share a lust for blood, spiked leather and screaming hot groupies... This is why we play music that will kick you in the throat... and if the music doesn't do it, I'll do it with my steel tipped boots... ahahahahahahaha!!!!!”

The EP will be made available to the public shortly after the NAMM show. Iron Steel and 'their people' are working out the details and will announce them ASAP.
