HIGH ON FIRE are set to kick-off their second headlining US tour in support of their new album, Death Is This Communion. This five week tour will begin on January 17th in Santa Cruz, CA and will include support from A LIFE ONCE LOST and SAVIOURS. Also joining the tour on various dates will be guests RWAKE, CAR BOMB, INTRONAUT, and ARCHONS. A complete listing of these tour dates can be found below.

The band recently returned from a co-headlining European tour with PELICAN in support of Death Is This Communion. The group has also just announced their involvement in the 2008 edition of Gigantour, set to kick-off in mid-April, along with MEGADEATH, IN FLAMES, JOB FOR A COWBOY and more. Additionally, High On Fire vocalist / guitarist Matt Pike recently took some time to speak with Headbanger’s Blog, the online forum for MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball, this week.
