Denver, Colorado-based black metallers SATAN'S HOST recently completed work on brand-new album Great American Scapegoat 666, set for a February 12th release via Moribund Records.

Vocalist Eli Elixir checks in: “Hail Satan! Unto our Legions World Wide 9. We send out our Satanic Magick unto you all. We are currently finishing up on the release of our newest album, titled Great American ScapeGoat 666. With the Winter Solstice here, Satan's Host is writing new material for the next album. Each individual is gathering their ideas, riffs, beats, lyrics. So when spring hits, we will get together and start composing trax towards the next project in pre-production. Then by mid-fall, we will enter into the studio to begin recording sessions. Satan's Host may do some festivals this summer, though we will have to see how the powers that be manifest our opportunities. Presently, Satan's Host is accepting applications for a bassist. Live, to perform festivals and theatre shows as with some bar gigs this summer. Need pro equipment, transportation to and from rehearsal sessions. Ability to learn 11 to 18 trax, have a good study-work ethic alone at home, as with the band. Then, once we feel that you are the One, we will talk about full-time position, as with all the Sacrifices and Commitments that will be asked of you in the Satan's Host Grotto. Send info, age, name, where your from, do you have job?, single, married, kids, years experience, type of equipment, some history on your live experience, CDs, videos, pics and a brief letter on what you have and will bring to the Satan's Host Grotto. Both live on the stage, and off the stage in the rehearsal room.” Contact elixir418@juno.com or send to: Satan's Host/Bass Audition, P.O. Box 351691, Westminster, CO 80031.
