hot flashes news sworn enemy

New York's SWORN ENEMY are set to make their Japanese debut this weekend, when the group co-headlines the country's Pump Up The Volume festivals in Kawasaki and Osaka. This marks the second international tour in support of the group's critically acclaimed new album Maniacal, which is set for a February 12th release.

Lorenzo Antonucci (guitars) states: “We're very excited to finally have the opportunity to perform in Japan. The European fans who saw us on tour with Hatebreed and Agnostic Front at the end of last year got a taste of how sick the new stuff sounds live, and we can't wait to perform it in front of the Japanese crowds.”

Before heading overseas, Sworn Enemy will perform an exclusive one-off concert tomorrow (Wednesday, January 23rd) at the legendary Orange County, Calif. club Chain Reaction. Fans who attend will have the chance to purchase copies of Maniacal three weeks before it's available in stores.

Sworn Enemy kicks off the North American touring cycle for Maniacal, co-produced by Tim Lambesis (AS I LAY DYING) and Joey Z (LIFE OF AGONY), on February 29th as part of the much-anticipated EARTH CRISIS reunion tour, a month-long trek which also features TERROR, SHAI HULUD, DOWN TO NOTHING and RECON. A special pre-order package is now available, which features a signed CD, exclusive t-shirt and guitar pick for only $18 so head over to www.myspace.com/swornenemy to get in on this great deal. Everyone who pre-orders the album will also automatically be entered to win a Dean Vendetta XM guitar. The winner will be announced on the album's release date of February 12th.
