Finland's DIABLO have issued the following update:

"Sakara Records (founded by the Finnish metal band MOKOMA in 2003) and Diablo released on February 24th 2008 an announcement about their future co-operation.

Sakara Records will release Diablo's fifth studio album in May, 2008. The recordings of the album start at the end of January at Fantom studio in Tampere (Finland) and the album will be called Icaros.

'We have known the members of Diablo for years and their hard-working attitude as well as their truly intense new material made the decision an easy one for the future co-operation', Tuomo Saikkonen of Sakara Records stated.

According to Tuomo Saikkonen, the record company's main goal for Diablo is to put a lots of effort for them to reach international markets and not just to cash in on band's years of groundwork in the Finnish markets.

The members of Mokoma founded Sakara Records in 2003 to release their own music after been sacked by multi-international record company. Since then STAM1NA, RYTMIHAIRIO, BLACK BILE and now Diablo has joined their artist roster.

All these bands will release new albums in spring 2008."
