Sarah Brightman recently spoke to Early Show co-anchor Julie Chen about working with KISS frontman Paul Stanley on the duet 'I Will Be With You', which appears on her new album, Symphony. Her comments are below:
"With Paul, he was amazing. And I had this sort of quite dark song with sort of operatic tendencies in it. And I just thought he would be great for this, and asked him, and he really wanted to do it, so that was it! So, there was always a connection between that and the rock thing and opera thing, which is great."As previously reported a clip of 'I Will Be With You' is now available on Amazon.com. Brightman was married to composer Andrew Lloyd Webber from 1984 to 1990, during which time she performed the role of Christine Daaé in the hit musical The Phantom Of The Opera. Subsequently, Stanley would play the role of The Phantom in 1999.
