CIRCUS DIABLO frontman Billy Morrison has issued the following blog in regard to last night's show in Venice, California:

"It's the first time I ever performed on a stage as part of a three piece band. That means, in case you are having a hard time with the math... there was a drummer (Mr. Charles Ruggiero), a bass player (Sir Patrick Cornell)... and me. Playing guitar, singing, and filling up as much space, both physically and sonically, as I possibly could. It absolutely means I have to work harder on stage (not a bad thing really) but I was surprised that it also meant having a ton of fun! The three of us rocked through a 45 minute set down at Venice Rocks (great club - totally pro, and super nice to all the bands) and I do believe we might do more of the same at some point. We did make the decision that we are going to hunker down and start working on a few tunes for a forthcoming Billy Morrison album. The three of us work really well together, I have a blast performing with Patrick and Charles, and all of us wanna make a record together. So - that's where my musical focus will fall for the next few months. Let's see what happens and let's see if we can't get that album together. For now, thanks to Soccermom and Warner Drive who played with us last night and thanks to the club for welcoming us down to Venice. See ya soon."
