KATSUMOTO Inks Deal With Uprising Records

Uprising Records has announced the signing of Southern California's KATSUMOTO.
According to a press release - "merging the ferocity of early era DARKEST HOUR with melodic MAIDEN-esque hooks – Katsumoto have built a solid reputation in Southern California for their super charged live performances, appealing to both rock n roll, and metal fans alike. Recently featured on Myspace metal, the group received over 400,000 plays in one day for their demo track 'I Reap You Sow'. Looking to further expose this local sensation to a national audience, Uprising immediately sent Katsumoto (Brian Yoo - vocals and guitar; Johnny Hirth - guitar; Matt Simmerman - bass, vocals; and Brandon Brown - drums and vocals) to work with Dave Swanson (HORSE THE BAND, RUFIO, A STATIC LULLABY, SAOSIN etc) where they are currently tracking their debut album, Burn EM Down, Wipe Em' Out."
