hot flashes news hellyeah

While in the midst of the second leg of their national headlining More Balls, More Volume, More Strength Tour with MACHINE HEAD, NONPOINT and BURY YOUR DEAD supporting, HELLYEAH are set to unveil the video for their newly released third single 'Thank You', a tribute to fallen heroes thats driven by a marching beat, delicate arpeggios and an unforgettable chorus. '

'Thank You' is currently #35 and growing at rock radio and the group’s first two singles - 'You Wouldn’t Know' and 'Alcohaulin’ Ass' - were Top 5.

The video contains personal photos of people the band has known, loved and wish to honor with a special song and video tribute. Included are never-before-seen photos of Vinnie Paul’s brother Darrell “Dimebag” Abbott, a special thank you to lead singer Chad Gray’s late grandmother Betty Rau and a tribute to soldiers the band has known who have lost their lives during the conflict in Iraq.

“It’s a very emotional track for anyone who’s been through a crazy loss,” Chad said in an interview last year. “Dime was brutally murdered. I watched my grandmother, who was this thriving, full-of-life soul, get whittled down to nothing because of cancer. I just felt we owed a big thank you to all of them.”
“It was very powerful,” says Vinnie of the first time he heard the completed song. “It made me think of how much my brother had done for me, and how much we had done together, and how much I miss him and how important it is for me and everyone to know we love him and appreciate him.”

The new 'Thank You' video will be seen on Fuse TV’s Talking Metal on February 22nd at Midnight (EST). The video will also be available for viewing online via: Akoo Video, AOL, Clear Channel, GoTV, Helio, ing.com, iTunes, medianet, MobiTV, MTV, musicbox, MySpace, Neurotic Media Video, Sony Music Box, Yahoo.com, YouTube and ZVue.
