EVERGREY fans were recently invited to submit questions for new bassist Jari Kainulainen (ex-STRATOVARIUS). The Q&A; is now online, an excerpt appears below:
Q: Did you have any doubts about joining a band as aggressive as Evergrey? And if so... What eased your mind about joining?
Jari: "I've always liked aggressive music, like SLAYER, MESHUGGAH, IMMORTAL, etc. So I really never had any doubts. Only worries I had was how the guys would treat a Finnish hockey fan."
Q: Have you taken part in the writing of the new album?
Jari: "No, just the bass adjustment."
Q: How do you feel about the new album and your contribution to the new album?
Jari: "The album is great. I've never played a better album in my life…yet."
