Melbourne metal trio CONTRIVE has just confirmed their first shows for 2008. Dates are as follows:

15 - Inferno Fest - Fortitude Valley, Queensland
Contrive's drummer Andrew Haug had the ultimate experience recently getting onboard IRON MAIDEN's personal Boeing 757 dubbed Ed Force One whilst the band were touring Australia.

The band is currently writing the follow-up to their acclaimed debut, The Meaning Unseen - mixed at Studio Fredman, Sweden by Fredrik Nordstrom (OPETH, ARCH ENEMY).
