DEEP PURPLE Smoke The Kremlin; Video Available

UK hard rock legends DEEP PURPLE performed at the Kremlin on Monday, February 11th marking the 15th anniversary of the Gazprom state natural gas monopoly. Dmitry Medvedev serves as Gazprom chairman and is Russian presidential front-runner - who happens to be a an enormous Deep Purple fan.
"This is simply surreal," Medvedev said on NTV television after the concert. "I started listening to Deep Purple when I was 13. At that time their music was banned.
