TÝR Announce Replacement Drummer For Paganfest Tour

February 21, 2008, 16 years ago

hot flashes news

Faroese pagan metal band TÝR have issued the following update:

"Due to injury, Kári Streymoy will not be able to man the drum kit during the coming Paganfest tour in Europe, Canada and the US. We are sad at not having him with us, but we have found a worthy replacement in 20-year old Amon Djurhuus, also from the Faroe Islands.

Amon was first introduced to drumming by Kári himself and has studied with him for a number of years. We've rehearsed with Amon wielding the drumsticks and are confident in his ability to fill Kári's shoes.

Hold on to your horses: the Faroese Vikings are coming your way!"
