HELHEIM - "The Tour Must Go On"
February 27, 2008, 16 years ago
Norwegian black/viking metal band HELHEIM have issued the following update:
"The Dark Allegiance Tour was very, very close to be cancelled due to a sloppy job done by our booking agency. But, since we are all fighters to the core, none of the bands gave up, and thanks to a great common effort by everyone, the tour will go on.We had to cut some costs, and are down to driving hired vans instead of a comfortable nightliner, but hey, this is metal, and this is touring how it is meant to be done. The biggest loss is that there will be no concerts in France or Italy, we are truly sorry about this, and we are commited to remedy this on our next tour.
In England our boooking agent had already cancelled the show that was planned at The Underworld before we could tell them that we would go on by ourselves, and we were lucky to get a deal at such short notice at Purple Turtle instead."
