March 3, 2008, 16 years ago
WWIII frontman Mandy Lion has issued the following update for his fans:
"I want you guys on my full length DVD!I have said it a million times and I will say it a million times more, you guys are the absolute best family an artist ever had! You guys are the reason I do what I do and your support means the world to me. This is why I always try to find ways to include you in what I do as much as possible.
Over the years so many of you have sent me videos of yourselves explaining why you like this, that or the other thing about what I do. Many of you were extremely kind, creative, sexy, funny, or outrageous to the point where it made me think...
Since I am working on a full length DVD with videos, live footage, interviews with all past and present musical partners the likes of George Lynch (DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB), Vinnie Appice (BLACK SABBATH, DIO), Jimmy Bain (RAINBOW, Dio), Jake E. Lee (OZZY OSBOURNE, BADLANDS), James Kottak (SCORPIONS), Mikkey Dee (KING DIAMOND, MOTÖRHEAD) and all kinds of other goodies I decided that I would like you guys included in this project. Send me your best, your funniest, your naughtiest, your most outrageous and your most creative ways to let me know how or why you like my music, like yours truly. Or you can tell me how you discovered me, what you would like to say if we met in person. Or just anything that comes to mind as long as it is entertaining and unique. The funniest, sexiest, most creative videos will be included on the up-coming DVD.
I am really looking forward to seeing what you guys will come up with. Judging by the truckload of tapes I have collected over the years I should be in for a treat and a half.
E-mail your mpegs to thebeasthimself@aol.com or E-mail that addy for a mailing address so we can get that show on the road.
I have a feeling like I am going to be busier than a three legged, spastic cat trying to hide shit on a marble floor trying to keep up with you creative folk."
See you all soon
Mandy
