New York-based dark/aggressive/progressive metal project GWYNBLEIDD has issued the following update:

GWYNBLEIDD has announce it’s first ever international shows. On April 23rd we will be at the Annex Wreckroom in Toronto, Ontario with headliners KALMAH. Also on April 25th they will take part in the Sudbury Metal Feast

In related news, we’re also set to accompany Ballet Deviare in it’s newest production Memento Mori on May 23-25th, 2008 at the Baruch Performing Arts Center in New York City. As part of the production, Gwynbleidd will perform The Awakening and a new piece entitled Thawing Innocence (performed live for the first time), as well as provide occasional but inevitable moments of sonic discord and ambience. It’s been a while since you’ve heard from us, and we’re sorry about the extended silence when it comes to updates on our upcoming debut album Nostalgia. Without going into details of all the delay, we can right now tell you that we are in the final stages of the recording process, with just some vocals and odd bits and pieces left to track before handing the project over into Dan Swanö's (EDGE OF SANITY, BLOODBATH, KATATONIA, OPETH) capable hands. We’re content with how the music sounds already, and the album will be available later this year – one way or another! The song titles on Nostalgia are tentatively set to:

'Nostalgia', 'Egress', 'New Setting', 'Stormcalling', 'Adrift', 'Thawing Innocence', 'Stare Into The Sun', 'Canvas for Departure'."
