Spain's Hall Of Metal has issued an interview with STORMWARRIOR bassist Yenz Leonhardt about the band's third album, Heading Northe, future plans for the group and much more. The following is an excerpt from the interview, conducted by Danyfender:

Q: Nowadays there are a lot of power metal bands coming out from Germany. How did you decide to focus on a more traditional and less popular style such as speed metal?

A: "We don't really care about trends or categories. We take the steps that feel right to ourselves and don't try to please anybody else. For Heading Northe we wanted to broaden the variety of styles and have been working a lot on creating a strong atmosphere matching the lyrical themes, so we've taken Stormwarrior another couple of steps away from being easy to categorize."

The album was recorded in the band's own Thunderhall Studios. Mixing was handled together with Piet Sielck (SAVAGE CIRCUS, IRON SAVIOR) and mastered by Tommy Hansen (HELLOWEEN, HAMMERFALL, PRETTY MAIDS) at Jailhouse Studios in Denmark.
