Organizers of this year’s Summer Slaughter Tour, which features THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, KATAKLYSM, VADER, CRYPTOPSY, THE FACELESS, DESPISED ICON, ABORTED, BORN OF OSIRIS, PSYCROPTIC, WHITECHAPEL, have issued the following update:

"After the astounding success of Summer Slaughter 2007 and the high demand from the underground metal community for bringing the tour back for a second year, we had no choice but to make it a reality again! We put a lot of time, thought and effort in to assembling one of the most diverse, yet cohesive extreme metal line-ups the genre has ever seen. While all the bands share the common theme of progressive musicianship and technical brutality, they all still clearly have their own distinct sound and vibe that they bring to the mix."
