Station Nightclub Fire, Five Years Later - VH1 Special Airs March 23rd

VH1 Classic and VH1 are running a one-hour special on the horrific Station nightclub fire of February 2003 that killed 100 clubgoers and injured 200 others during a GREAT WHITE concert in West Warwick, R.I.

VH1 Classic: Aftermath: The Station Fire Five Years Later, which airs Sunday, March 23rd, at 10 PM ET/PT, incorporates highlights of a benefit concert for the victims that took place February 25th in Providence, R.I. Performers included TWISTED SISTER, TESLA, WINGER, Aaron Lewis of STAIND, Eric Martin from MR. BIG, as well as John Rich of BIG & RICH, GRETCHEN WILSON and DIERKS BENTLEY.
The concert was dubbed Phoenix Rising! Musicians United to Benefit the Victims of the Station Nightclub Fire.
The special includes interviews with survivors of the fire, as well as a first-hand look at the site as it exists today with host Brett Michaels (the site serves as a moving memorial to fire victims).
