California metallers HELLION see their MySpace page updated with the following:
New Renaissance Records confirmed today that Hellion is not doing a reunion tour this summer. According to label spokesperson, Tony Collatta, "It came to our attention that a group calling itself ’Hellion’ booked themselves into a number of clubs and theaters in the US and Canada. It is especially concerning because they not only used the Hellion name and logo, but also included the song ’Bad Attitude’ in thier radio commercials. While this group is now claiming to he a ’tribute band,’ Collatta warns that any unauthorized use of the name Hellion in conjunction with a band or music product is not only misleading to fans but violates federal law."
New Renaissance Records spokesperson, Tony Collatta, confirmed that singer Ann Boleyn is very busy with her record label and law practice, and is currently rehearsing with with DETENTE who are booked to perform at the Headbangers Open Air Festival in Germany. Boleyn will be filling in for singer Dawn Crosby who was killed in 1996. According to Collatta, "Ann seems very happy with the way Detente is sounding and there is talk of them starting to write together. She seems to be focusing her effort in that direction."
