EERIE To Record As The World Comes To An End In July; Tracklisting Revealed
March 24, 2008, 16 years ago
Swedish doom metallers EERIE, led by VANMAKT's Gorgoth (aka Tais) have issued the following update:
"Eerie will start the recording for our debut album, As The World Comes To An End, in July this year. We would start sooner but I'm going to record in June with another band of mine, so we decided that it would be the best to wait and start in July so that I dont have to go away in the middle of the progress. We hope to have some pre-recordings with vocals to upload soon, and I tried to upload 2 new songs today but they were to big and since my music computer crashed 3 days ago I can't do anything about that at the moment. But there will be some new songs up soon.
The tracklist for As The World Comes To An End is: 'Memorial Part 1', 'Closure', 'Alone...', 'Echoes Of Despair', 'Eerie Nightmares', 'As The World Comes To An End', 'Scattered Dreams', 'Under A Velvet Moon'.
It might be changed when the "real" recording is done, but I dont think so.
The album will contain 8 songs, as you can see and the full playing time is at the moment 65 minutes of music. This might change since we will work more with the intros and outros of the songs in the studio as well as some parts might be longer or shorter, this will be decided when Gadd has learned all the drum parts and were starting the pre-recording of the vocals. But I promise you an album that won't be shorter than 60 Minutes.
That's it for this time, and until next time; buy the new DRACONIAN album! Its bloody amazing!
Best Regards, Tais."
