DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN To Guest On Tinitus This Week
March 25, 2008, 16 years ago
Norway's Tinitus radio program - airing from 8 PM - 10 PM on Norway's P3 - has issued the following update regarding tomorrow night's (March 26th) show:
"Known for being Mike Patton’s protegees whose no-holds-barred live shows should feature a health hazard warning, DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN’s guitarist Ben Weinman and vocalist Greg Puciato wax lyrical about homosexuality, getting starkers on the cover of one of the biggest music magazines in the world, Kerrang! and farting on each other’s cocks. At some point, they also chat about music and their latest, amazing effort Ire Works. Not for the faint-hearted. On and off stage, these guys are loose cannons. Miss Pee adds a twist to the whole issue as Kerrang! photographer, Paul Harries will give us his side of the story about the New Jersey's math crew's infamous shoot last year.Highlights from the interview with Dillinger Escape Plan will be shown on P3TV from Wednesday, April 2nd here.
Plus, we bring you a hit and run type report from Inferno and we reveal the last headliner for this year’s Hole In The Sky festival in Bergen with a little help from one of the band members. Headliners announced so far: CARCASS and MESHUGGAH. Care to know who the third one will be? Tune in on Wednesday from 20:00 and win prizes!
Last but not least, Guitar World's Jimmy Hubbard and Brad Angle will be our guests in the studio. Responsible for the filming of MASTODON's whereabouts on the Atlanta-based band on their European dates last summer (including the band's ill-fated trip to the Hove festival), Hubbard and Angle have been busy collecting footage and interviews from some of the most interesting Norwegian black metal acts, including SATYRICON and EMPEROR. What is this in connection with? Tune in and find out tomorrow night from 20:00.
Piercing your nipples, labias, hoods and eardrums - Tinitus - every Wednesday from 20:00 on NRK P3 (93.5fm)."
