GHOST BRIGADE Guitarist Wille Naukkarinen On Signing With Season Of Mist: "They Seemed To Genuinely Like Our Music..."

Rockpages.gr has issued an interview with GHOST BRIGADE guitarist Wille Naukkarinen. The following is an excerpt from the chat, conducted by Sakis Nikas:
Q: You’ve done a great start by signing with one of the most trusted and steady labels in the business with a very strong band catalogue. Was it your decision to go with Season Of Mist or you were the label’s choice?
A: “Well this is actually an interesting story. We sent them the demo we recorded last year, they loved it, wrote us back but didn't offer a deal. Instead, they told us they wanted more time to listen to it because they really liked it but hadn't signed a demoband in years and so they didn't know what to do with us. I guess they had made a some kind of a decision earlier to only sign bands who have previously released something and/or had some name already. And I can understand that, signing a demoband like us is not exactly a risk-free move.
So anyway, after like 2 weeks they sent another email and said they like the demo so much they want to sign us. At that time we had 3 bigger labels interested in us and to cut a long story short, we negotiated with all 3 for a while and ended up signing to SoM because they seemed to genuinely like our music and also offered a fairly good deal.”
