Report: BUCKCHERRY Prepare To Hit The Studio
April 7, 2008, 16 years ago
According to The Pulse Of Radio, BUCKCHERRY are hard at work on material for their fourth album, the follow-up to 15.
The band hope to enter the studio in May to begin recording, and singer Josh Todd gave The Pulse Of Radio an update on exactly where things stand, stating, "We're finishing up the songwriting, we're at the hardest point. We've got a lot of songs in the can, the record is great, and we just want it to be that much better. 'Cause to us, it's the sophomore slump all over again. We've had this, now we've had this record that - biggest record of our career, and now we've got to follow it up, and it's not easy."
Back in January, Buckcherry's 15 was certified platinum by the RIAA for sales exceeding 1 million units. Released April 11th, 2006, the Los Angeles-based hard rock outfit’s 15 kick-started the rock revolution with a remarkable 91-weeks-and-counting on the Billboard's Top 200 Albums Chart, powered by four multi-format hit singles: 'Crazy Bitch', 'Next 2 You', 'Everything', and 'Sorry'.
