MOONSTONE Guitarist Matteo Filippini - "The New Album Is Almost Done"

Italian guitarist Matteo Filippini from the MOONSTONE PROJECT has issued the following update:
"Oh my God. It's been a long time since my last time on stage... it was in 2007 with my band and Carmine Appice. Last week I played a show in Tirana, Albania and it was just one of the highlights of my career. The people were great, my band (Rob, Nik and Ale) are just the best people you can ask for and playing with Ian Paice is always fun. We played in front an amazing crowd, they're just crazy and recharged my spirit and my passion for music. Lotsa great vibes and funny situations... also some scary ones!Check all the pictures in the photo album at my MySpace page.
We're supposed to come back in Albania again in June with my bro GLENN HUGES... really looking forward to it!
The new album is almost done. I'm so proud of it... really strong AND simple music. I'm sure u will love it. I will announce details soon.
The first Moonstone Project album is gonna be released again by Mausoleum Records, end of May... different title, three bonus tracks, different deluxe artwork. Will post a blog about it next week.
