DOKKEN bassist Barry Sparks has checked in with the following update:

"Hello there! I am overdue for an update (as usual!) anyhow I have been in Japan the last few months. I am on tour with the Japanese band B'Z it is their 20th anniversary tour! I toured with them four years ago and its very nice to be back for this special event. The shows have been unreal! huge is an understatement! We are now getting ready to begin the arena tour throughout Japan and the new single 'Burn' has just been released. It can be viewed (below). The new Dokken CD Lightning Strikes Again is out and sounds awesome!! I think its the best album I have made with them."

Rhino Records will be releasing the new Dokken studio album Lightning Strikes Again in the US on May 13th. The European release date for Lightning Strikes Again was April 11th.
