BLOODSHED Announce New Lineup, Name Change To REV 16:8

Swedish metallers BLOODSHED check in with the following:
"New band name, new throat and lungs...Some rather big news: we have decided to change the band's name. Several other bands go by the moniker of Bloodshed. After plenty of confusement we've felt it was time for change.
So Bloodshed will be burried, only to resurrect as REV 16:8! Another change in our process of shedding skin is that Erik Wall will no longer be with us as the band's vocalist.
"I decided to quit Bloodshed in December after having been in the band for three and a half years due to the fact that I wasn't motivated anymore and felt that it had become more of a burden instead of something inspiring. Parting ways with the band was the only solution for me as it was best for them as well as myself. They have potential to climb high and I wish them the best of luck in the future!" - Erik Wall
New throat and lungs for the band is Ingemar (also in THE UGLY), who has already gone through the initial rite of playing two concerts with the band. Photos can be found on our gallery.
Due to the name change we are also building up a new MySpace site.
