WALTARI's Kärtsy Hatakka To Produce Next SILENTIUM Album

Finnish doom metallers SILENTIUM have issued the following update:
"Recording sessions for the next album is booked and scheduled starting with choir (Jyväskylä Female Choir) and orchestral parts. The band itself will be recorded during the summer. The producer for the next album is the multi-talented mainman of WALTARI, Kärtsy Hatakka.Keyboardist Sami Boman shares his thoughts: "I'm very excited of this chance to work with him (Kärtsy). His innovativeness and unbiasedness is second to none. Kärtsy can reach the feelings behind the music, whenever it's fragile or vast, even brutal soundmass. I can't wait to get into the studio, I'm sure then'll the magic happen."
Release date for the record is set to October 29th 2008.
