RISING DREAM To Support IRON MAIDEN In Croatia
April 28, 2008, 16 years ago
BW&BK; has received the following update from Coatian metallers RISING DREAM:
One of the most perspective Croatian bands, Rising Dream, have been officially confirmed as IRON MAIDEN's support for the Somewhere Back In Time show in Split, Croatia.
Rising Dream have already supported such famous bands as HELLOWEEN, AMON AMARTH, DEEP PURPLE and played at major European open air festivals.
Being confirmed as Iron Maiden's support band even before releasing their debut album (to be released in July 2008), was a great recognition for their work so far.
This is what the band had to say about supporting Maiden (from their website, www.rising-dream.net): "The Dream is true! We believe that it's a huge honor for any band (even for some bands with a couple of decades' experience) to be playing with Iron Maiden during their most spectacular tour ever. It has been made official, Rising Dream is listed along with LAUREN HARRIS as special guests for their Poljud (Split, Croatia), 35,000 capacity stadium show, August 10th, 2008."
Expect a spectacular show from Rising Dream, the promotion of their first album Failed Apocalypse and again a special tour bus from Zadar, which will take the band and fans to Split.
Rising Dream wants to thank Lupa Promotion, Phantom Music Management, Dallas Records and the Croatian Iron Maiden fan club. We'd like to invite you all to this show and we promise that we'll do our best to showcase the Croatian metal scene to the world.
The band will start promoting their album with live gigs, beginning in July 2008, which will be their first shows since supporting Deep Purple in November 2007.
In the meantime, they have been recording their debut album Failed Apocalypse which will be issued on July 1st for a major Croatian label, Dallas Records.
Rising Dream's performance this year at the Castle Festival on July 3rd alongside such bands as CRADLE OF FILTH, AT THE GATES, THE 69 EYES, SOILWORK, ADAGGIO and SECRET SPHERE will be just the beginning of a series of shows on their Failed 2008 tour.
