SONIC SYNDICATE Putting Finishing Touches On New Album
April 28, 2008, 16 years ago
Sweden’s SONIC SYNDICATE, are currently putting the finishing touches on their second record for Nuclear Blast and third record over all. Vocalist Richard Sjunnesson offered this update on the progress of the new album and their direct support slot to NIGHTWISH this May.
“We're currently in the studio putting the last touches on our vocal tracks before the new album goes into the mixing process. Our new album is coming out very diverse and will hopefully have a little something for everyone once it's complete. We have managed to come up with the most solid songs in the history of SONIC SYNDICATE and we can't wait till the new album is released sometime after the summer. The last 3 months have been amazing and on May 5th the good times will continue to roll when we start our upcoming North American tour supporting Scandinavian giants Nightwish. We've been big fans of Nightwish over the years so all of us are looking forward to sharing the same stage with them and hopefully take home tons of great memories.
We´re thrilled to get back to over to North America to kick up some dust, deliver quality gigs and do all sorts of crazy shit! See you soon!”

Sonic Syndicate's video for the song 'Enclave' has been posted below. The track comes off the Swedish metal band's sophomore CD, Only Inhuman, which entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 64 - an impressive feat considering the group had never performed in the country prior to the album's release. The CD also landed at No. 22 on the Swedish chart.
