MELTDOWN - Studio Update V2.0

L.A.-based thrashers MELTDOWN, who recently inked a deal with Nuclear Blast Records, have sent an update from Andy Classen’s Stage One Studio where they are recording their debut album, Executioner.
Says guitarist/singer Dan Wetmore: "It's our second week in the Stage One Studio and things are progressing quite well. By now we can count to eleven in German so needless to say life is fruitful!
At this point all rhythm guitars and bass have been finished up. Finally things are coming together, and sounding badass as hell. We used a 50 watt JCM 800 with an original tube screamer for the rhythm tone. It's fucking heavy. Right now, we're starting vocals and lead guitar parts. Hopefully that won't take too long and we'll be mixing soon.
Adam represented the band well when narrowly beating an unsuspecting Mr. Classen at Mario Kart. I've got to split and nosh on a schnitzel! Tschüss!"
