DEF LEPPARD Achieves Highest Soundscan Chart Debut For A New Record

The new DEF LEPPARD album, Songs From The Sparkle Lounge, has achieved the highest Soundscan chart debut for a new record in Canada - the album hit the #7 position, with almost 7,000 units scanned. As reported earlier today, the record racked up sales of 55,000 copies in it's first week of release in the US, landing the title at #5 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
The band have announced that they will receive support from BILLY IDOL on some of their upcoming North American dates.
