RESURRECTION - New Album Bumped Back; Artwork, Complete Tracklisting Revealed
May 7, 2008, 16 years ago
Florida-based death metallers RESURRECTION have issued the following update:
"The new album Mistaken For Dead release date is now June 27 in Europe via Massacre Records and unknown at this time in North America via Locomotive Records. So far initial feedback by European press is real positive. Dan Seagrave did the cover art (click photo) which is very unique and strange for a death metal band, but it's strength is in it's weirdness and it is an actual canvas painting that is an original custom made for us.We unfortunately have had to cancel our appearance at this year's DOA festival in Germany and hope that we can be a part of it another time. We are still planning on a 3 week European tour in the fall and possibly another 3 weeks in the spring to promote the record. We will keep you updated on that..... The Embalmed Existence re-issue will be happening this year!!! Tentative plans include a re-mastered version of the album, storyteller outtakes, live and demo recordings, and a seperate DVD disc with vintage live footage, interviews, 93/94 tour vids, etc. The album will be a limited edition 2 disc digipak only. So for the hundreds of requests that we have gotten about the Embalmed album, there you have it!! We will have some of the new tunes from the album up shortly."
